At The Residences of South Carolina, we specialize in caring for seniors who experience Alzheimer’s and the many forms of dementia. We understand the toll memory loss can take on loved ones. We can help manage the daily ups and downs of living with someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our Memory Care Unit is designed to mimic a comfortable home-like setting, with furnishings and memorabilia items placed carefully – to help simulate a peaceful and familiar environment. When living with memory loss, capturing a purposeful day isn’t always a task easy. Each day, our skilled team of caregivers enforces the philosophy that every senior can live a purposeful life – no matter his/her current state of mind.

Coupled with active social activities, our main focus is to provide specialized memory care services seven days-a-week to your loved one. Each day, our trained specialists work to develop individual skills and measure resident's daily progress. We are staffed with Certified Dementia Practitioner’s (CDPs) and provide some of the following additional accommodations for residents in our Memory Care Unit:
